Taut, well-written script and direction that somehow never grabbed me. Possibly I just wasn’t in the mood for this one tonight. Possibly turned off by Jim Carrey. It felt both not serious enough and not zany enough.
In the genre of “normal human being stuck in surreal situation,” I prefer Being John Malkovich and Groundhog Day.
